Built in 1928 by William Lee Stoddart, this 23 story, 440 room French Renaissance hotel is on the National Register of Historic Places. When it was built, this hotel was the largest in Maryland. Beautifully renovated in 2014 by Rubell Properties, the charm of its glittering past was renewed while modern features were added. Many luminaries have been guests, including some guests - as it is said - who never left.
